Quilt Show Guidelines
1. Quilts not previously shown in local shows may be entered. (This does not apply to antique quilts).
2. Submit a separate registration form for each entry.
3. Registration deadline is March 16, 2010. A $3.00 entry fee per entry must accompany the registration.
Checks may be made out to
White Oak Mountain Quilters.
4. Specify dominant colors in your entry. This will assist in arranging entries for display.
5. It is important you show the insured value of your entry. ( Materials: Fabric, thread, batting, embellishment
and paid quilting)
6. A four-inch sleeve/rod pocket on the back of the quilt is required for display.
7. Entries may be dropped off at St. Luke’s Methodist Church between the hours of 12 noon and 4 PM on
Thursday, April 22, 2010.
8. The entry cannot be picked up sooner than 4PM April 24, 2010. You must present your pick up slip to
obtain your entry.
9. Every attempt will be made to safeguard entries. White Oak Mountain Quilt Guild cannot be held
responsible in case of loss or damage. The display area will be locked at night. Volunteers will be stationed
throughout the floor during show hours.
10. Viewer’s Choice ribbons will be awarded in each category.
11. Withdrawals must be made no later than one week (April 15, 2010 ) before the show.
